Dynamic Radial Palsy Splint

Adjustable Support for Hand Rehabilitation

₹2000.00

  • Correcting Wrist Drop: It mechanically substitutes for the non-functioning extensor muscles, lifting the wrist and fingers up into a natural, neutral position.

  • Restoring Daily Hand Function: Because the finger loops use flexible springs, the patient can still actively close their hand into a fist to grip objects. When they relax, the springs automatically pull the fingers back open. This allows patients to write, eat, and work during recovery.

  • Preventing Flexion Contractures: If a hand stays dropped for too long, the opposing flexor tendons and finger joints tighten up permanently (contracture). The constant, gentle upward tension of the dynamic splint keeps the joints supple and mobile.

  • Protecting Healing Muscles: It prevents the paralyzed extensor muscles from being overstretched by the healthy, stronger flexor muscles on the palm side of the hand.

  • Post-Operative Rehabilitation: It is widely used following radial nerve repair surgeries or tendon transfer procedures to protect the surgical site while permitting early, safe movement.
